Diospyros kaki 'Izu'
Exceptionally sweet and flavorful, this non-astringent variety ripens about three weeks earlier than Fuyu. The medium to large, round fruit grows on a relatively small tree, making it an excellent choice for home gardens. Requires approximately 200 chill hours and is self-fruitful.
