Fuji apple is a large, rounded, reddish-orange apple variety that originated in Japan. It is a cross between the Red Delicious and Virginia Ralls Genet apple. It is an exceptionally crisp and sweet apple making it a favorite backyard apple variety. The fruits also store well, up to a year in ideal conditions. It is also a great pollenizer for other apple varieties.
