We accept cash, Visa and Mastercard. Checks are not accepted for sod orders.

In regards to our special cash pricing, CASH means CASH not debit card. American Express and Discover Card paying customers will be charged an additional $.02 per sq. ft.

No. All sod order must be paid in advance. No exceptions. No reserve orders for sod without prepayment.

Sod orders can be placed at our nursery or over the phone with a valid credit card and ID verification.

Southland Sod Farms grows and distributes its Marathon brand of sod. Marathon sod consists of pure fescue and is considered a premium quality sod brand. It is grown and harvested in Oxnard. Marathon sod comes in three different types I,II and III. Marathon Sod is refrigerated after it is cut and harvested to ensure freshness. Southland Sod Farms offers a conditional one year guarantee.

A-G Sod Farms grows and distributes A-G Elite Plus brand of sod. It consists of a blend of fescue and bluegrass which repairs itself after minor damage. A-G Elite Plus fescue is of good quality and is harvested at its Nuevo location. A-G Elite Plus fescue is more economically priced and comes in larger pieces (8 square feet vs 5 square feet).

Marathon Sod: 1,000 sq. ft.

AG Elite Plus: 960 sq. ft.

Marathon Sod: For orders between 500-999 sq. ft there is a $50 delivery fee. For orders between 200-499 sq. ft. there is a $100 delivery fee.

AG Elite Plus Sod: For orders between 480 to 960 sq. ft there is a $60 delivery fee. Any orders less than these amounts can be picked up directly from the nearest AG Sod Farm location.

Southland Sod Farms offers delivery to the Inland Empire on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Orange and Los Angeles counties are Tuesday through Saturday. Delivery service is not offered on Sunday or Monday.

AG Sod Farms offers delivery Monday-Saturday. No delivery service on Sundays.

Will call for A-G Elite Plus fescue or any other of their turf types is available for next day pick up for orders placed before 12:00 PM the previous day.

A-G Sod Farms is located at 30932 Palm Ave, Nuevo CA 92387. You will need to provide the farm’s office with your confirmation number which we will provide you after your order has been placed.

Orders for Marathon Sod can be picked up at our Nursery for a $15 drop fee. Sod arrives on a pallet and we will load the pallet onto your vehicle with our forklift.  Manual loading of sod into cars, SUV’s anything other than truck or trailer will incur a $25 additional charge. 

**Please keep in mind that pallets of sod can weigh between 2500 – 3000lbs. Please make sure you have a vehicle capable of hauling this amount of weight as we are not responsible for damages you may incur while transporting sod.
