Greenwave
Southland Greenwave Lite – $1.50 / sqft
Prices as of 5/1/26
Greenwave (Lite) is a creeping Red Fescue that is perfect for landscapes that have slopes or require a mounding ground cover effect. No mow, you can allow it to grow approximately 12" and then it will flop over creating a meadow-like scene. To keep it fresh and manageable, you can weed eat it down once a year to create new growth. Greenwave is relatively shade tolerant.
Pureblue
Southland Pureblue Lite – $1.50 / sqft
Prices as of 5/1/26
Improved elite bluegrass blend. Dense, elegant appearance. Medium-fine texture. Requires regular care to maintain refined appearance. Does best in moderate coastal areas; avoid using in inland valleys and warm, arid regions. Requires well-drained soil; does not tolerate salinity. Green year-round.
St. Augustine
Southland St. Augustine – $2.05 / sqft
Prices as of 5/1/26
Very coarse thick-stemmed runners. Used primarily where shade tolerance is the top priority. Native to the southern United States where humid conditions do not permit cool-season lawn varieties to flourish. Considerable thatching; requires concrete borders for containment. Dormant in winter.
Hybrid Bermuda
Southland Hybrid Bermuda – $1.16 / sqft
Prices as of 5/1/26
Excellent as athletic field or recreational turf. Often used on golf course putting greens. Very dense, low-growing, fine textured. Creates an attractive “manicured” look with consistent care and trimming. Develops thatch; requires concrete borders for containment. Becomes dormant in winter.
