Prunus salicina x Prunus cerasifera 'Hollywood'
Hollywood plum is a fruiting ornamental tree introduced commercially in 1936. Delicious fruits are medium-sized and round, with blood-red flesh and skin. Ripens in late June and hangs well on the tree. Fruits are good for jelly and canning. Red-leafed tree has upright growth habit.
