Hood Pear

With a very low chilling requirement, this variety is inter-fruitful with Flordahome or Pineapple pear and produces large, early-season fruit with yellow-green skin and sweet, mild-flavored flesh. It is also reported to have excellent resistance to fire blight, requiring only 100–200 chill hours.
