Sweet, Homegrown Blueberries for Gardens and Containers

Blueberries produce tasty, antioxidant rich fruit. They also make excellent landscape specimens with their beautiful flowers and colorful foliage. Blueberry bushes are self-fruitful but optimal production occurs when they are cross pollinated. Make sure to plant them in a well drained acidic soil and never fertilize with a nitrate based nitrogen fertilizer. An acid fertilizer will suffice.
